This is made possible by a dedicated rear EdgeCut disc that can cut so close to the edges that only a minimum of grass is left uncut. Wildlife consideration with AI vision technology The advanced AI vision technology works even in the dark, detecting and avoiding nocturnal animals during nighttime mowing. It uses infrared light, which is invisible to the eye but delivers consistent performance day and night without disturbing animals or neighbours. Selectable mowing patterns Choose stripes, checkerboard or a triangle pattern on your lawn with systematic mowing. This feature enables the mower to run in parallel lines to create a visual pattern. Or for a carpet-like finish, there is also the option of irregular mowing. Automower® Zone Control Automower® Zone Control allows you to easily create work areas with different settings and temporary stay-out zones. It gives you more control over the lawn so you can apply different mowing patterns, schedules and cutting heights to each area or prevent the robotic lawn mower from mowing in selected areas. Electric height adjustment – PATENTED Electric cutting height adjustment makes it convenient to set the desired height via the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app. The setting is also accessible from the mower’s main menu. Automatic passage handling – PATENTED Husqvarna Automower® automatically senses narrow passages and finds its way even through the smallest passages. It will vary its route through the passage to avoid unpleasant tracks. Secondary Area If your lawn has two areas that are not connected with a passage for your mower, for example the front and back lawn, then you are able to create a secondary area in your installation. Once installed, you need to manually move the mower between these two areas, and the mower will mow for a selected time or until the battery is empty. If your smartphone operating system is not supported then you will not be able to install the Automower® Connect app which is needed to install a wire free mower. How does the AI vision technology work? A camera on the front of the mower detects objects such as toys and footballs on the lawn, as well as golf balls, trash and sprinkler heads on green spaces. Using advanced AI, the mower identifies the object, then acts according to the type of object it is. Images are processed inside the mower and never stored or shared. The AI vision technology’s power consumption is minimal, and the mower can still handle the area capacity it is designed for, even while operating with AI vision technology. As with all Husqvarna products, our robotic mowers with vision technology are designed to handle the garden environment for many years. Regular cleaning is recommended to remove any dust or other debris. Do I need internet across the lawn for the virtual boundary and GPS features? Yes. To receive satellite correction data from Husqvarna Cloud (typical position accuracy better than 5 cm) you need cellular or Wi‑Fi coverage across the entire lawn. If you don’t have coverage, the EPOS® RS1 reference station can be purchased as an alternative; it provides high accuracy without an internet connection. What area sizes does the mower handle? The Automower® 410VE NERA handles up to 1,500 m² using the systematic (striped/checkerboard/triangle) mowing patterns. For the irregular, carpet‑like pattern the recommended capacity is up to 1,000 m². How does the mower protect wildlife, children and my possessions? The AI camera detects and classifies objects, then alters behaviour to avoid them. Infrared vision works at night to reduce disturbance to nocturnal animals.
