Marble Effect Spray Blue

$76.68 $124.22
Marble Effect Spray Blue Marble Effect Spray Blue is a high-coverage spray paint for a deceivingly realistic marble effect. This spray emits paint in the form of fibres, mimicking that of fracturing marble. Perfect for Epoxy Projects The marble effect is formed by very fine coloured paint strands on the surface area of the object in question. The area which is to be sprayed is not entirely covered and will stay partially visible. This spray can be top-coated with many common lacquer types once thoroughly dry. Each can is fitted with the Flat Jet Wide calligraphy cap that can be adjusted to create spray output lines in vertical, horizontal, or variations thereof. Safety Warnings Please wear necessary PPE. Avoid contact with eyes. Extremely flammable aerosol. Harmful if inhaled. Pressurised container: May burst if heated. Frequently Asked Questions What surfaces can I apply spray to? Marble Effect Spray can be used on many different surfaces such as paper, cardboard, primed canvas, wood, glass, metal, ceramics, porcelain, stone, acrylic, and other paintable materials. How do I get the best effect with my spray? For a marble look, the 400ml spray works best if applied at a further distance from the substrate. This allows the paint filaments to separate further during projection and land with a more natural look on the substrate. We recommend first experimenting on a scrap piece of material so you can gauge how far from the substrate you should spray (and at which angle), to achieve the effect you are after. If you spray at a closer distance the filaments have less time to separate and thus land on the substrate in the appearance of webbing. What is the best coloured surface to apply to? There is no best coloured surface depending on what appearance you are trying to achieve. However always keep in mind the effect of contrast. Spraying on contrasting colours like white spray on a black substrate, will offer the greatest contrast. How do I start using my spray? Remove the spray nozzle and turn the can upside down. Strike with your palm allowing safety ring to fall out. Shake vigorously for 2-3 minutes ensuring you can hear the mixing balls moving freely. Replace the cap back onto the top of the can valve and trigger away from substrate to test. If flowing freely you can start painting. How long does the surface take to dry? The drying time for spray varies on substrate, ambient temperature and levels of humidity. Marble spray can be dust dry in 10 minutes, touch dry in 60 minutes but needs 24 hours (minimum) curing time.
