The Gen II parka is the classic waterproof, windproof and breathable Army designed parka. A durable outer shell, laminated to create a waterproof and windproof barrier which can be layered to achieve protection at colder temperatures. The fabric is designed to breathe so it can be worn as a warm weather raincoat comfortably as well. A stowable and adjustable hood, hook and loop cuffs, and an integrated wind skirt provide protection from the elements. 6.2 oz 100% Nylon waterproof breathable plain weave Fabric is composed of 3 layers laminated together for a waterproof and windproof but breathable system. Outer layer is 100% nylon plain weave, laminated to a waterproof breathable membrane, protected by a nylon backing. All seams patched with waterproof seam tape to prevent leaking. Adjustable hood can be stowed in collar 6 external pockets - 2 handwarmer/cargo combination pockets and 2 shoulder pockets Internal hook and loop closure chest pocket conceals small items from the elements Adjustable cuffs and snow skirt provide ways to keep the wind out.
