PRODUCT DESCRIPTION The XTE 171C is a robust machine featuring a die cast alloy feed and a rear tray for gas bottles up to 20kg. Its high performance at low current reduces heat distortion and the flexible polarity allows gasless welding (will accept 5kg or 15kg wire spools). It has a DC output and when combined with the correct type of wire it is suitable for welding mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. The feed box ensures reliable feeding of 0.6mm and 0.8mm wires. The XTE 171C cabinet can accept a gas cylinder and its large wheels mean it is easily portable and can be moved from job to job.
